So academic misconduct concerning recruits in 3 separate sports in the athletic department? The NCAA hates systematic violations. That the football ones were 6 years ago and the track and basketball ones were 3 years ago that would be 3 years of cheating, since cleaned up. Probation seems like a no brainier.

So Ole Miss needs to stay squeaky clean the next 3 recruiting cycles in football. A violation on probation is what doomed Bama in 2002

And if you go back to my original post on this, I never said OM was getting hammered or anything. Simply that the possibility was there, and for anyone to be saying that nothing will come of it because it was "minor" violations aren't doing it intelligently. Fact is, no one has any clue the severity, if anything else is to come, or what the penalties will be, if any.
