Essentially it's the same OL as this year. Lose Kerbyson, add Drew Richmond.

Probably at least serviceable. They weren't great at all this year, but still massively improved from 2014. We get several back from season ending injuries(one was a former starter), lose 2 to graduation and get a couple in our next class. Overall we should be much improved, as a few of our sophs and redshirt frosh will make huge strides this offseason. I think we rank somewhere in the middle of the pack in sacks allowed after being last in 2014, and it's been good enough for our 3 headed ground attack to thrive. I expect that they at least won't be a liability next year.

3 wins to start
4 basically coin flips in a row (we may be slightly better than UGA or A&M, but both are road games)
5 wins to finish

My assumption is that we split the 4 toss ups and go 10-2, but obviously that could vary. I'm not buying that UT will be better than Bama, even with their player losses after this year. Bama is a playoff contender every year that Saban is the coach.

Georgia doesn't have a qb
You get Florida at home
Aggie is a fraud
USCe is trash
Bama is losing way too much on defense

You then have the easiest November in the history of football

The schedule does set up favorably, but I expect we'll drop one of UF or Bama, and probably one other. Bama gets us after 3 tough games in a row, and too much bullshite has happened vs UF to write them off as a win, regardless of circumstances. UGA and A&M are both more than capable of beating us. 12-0 is certainly a possibility, but I would be very surprised if we pulled it off. We would be doing pretty well to go 11-1 IMO.

IF this is a serious question the Vols have the recipe to be a great team in 2016.

First of all we have a Senior QB who just finished his first full year as our starter. He should continue to build his leadership and intangibles as the starting QB. He is dyanamic as hell as a runner and has potential as a passer. Can he take the next step with his accuracy is the only question.

RB's are stacked 3 deep this year and will be 4 deep next year with another talented freshman coming in. With Hurd and Kamara back and the 2nd best SEC rushing attack we are good to go here.

OL returns 4 starters. We lose our LT who has started the last two years. He will likely be replaced by a RS JR or RS FR(5* Drew Richmond). One lose one backup C/G but he was a liability. The rest of the two deep is back. The run blocking this year was much, much better as was the pass blocking. I see the OL finally being a strength again next year and not a liability.

WR/TE will be the conundrum. It would seem on paper we bring back a ton of talent. But this group can not stay healthy. Two years in a row now we've had multiple guys miss basically the entire season. We only lose Von Pearson who was about our #3 WR and should add more talent. Hopefully they are good to go next year but hard to tell.

Overall the O looks amazing. Finished top 5 overall in SEC this year and brings virtually everyone back. If the passing game gets sharp then this O will be tops in the country good.

Defensively we lose one DT and return literally everyone else on the DL. We also have two of the top JUCO's coming in next year. We get Tuttle, Phillips and other top recruits from last year back from injury. The DL can be 2001 Tennessee good next year.

LB's should be great as well if Jalen Reaves Maybin returns and doesn't go pro. Darrin Kirkland Jr. really turned the corner mid season in his freshman year and he and JRM are as good a duo at LB in the SEC in 2016.

CB's will be really good as well in 2016 if Sutton returns and doesn't go pro. We get Gaulden back from injury and return all other players. We will be 2 deep with top talent at both CB's and NB.

S is probably the only concern on the team. We lose both Sr S's who have started pretty much 3 years. Todd Kelly Jr has a lot of experience at SS and should step in and improve, but Evan Berry has been a liability when Randolph is out so we need to shore up that FS spot.

We return every portion of the best Special Teams in the country.

So yes it is put up or shut up time for Butch.

I knew this year would be a step but we all knew it would be an 8-4 or 9-3 type season.

Every year Butch has been right around where I expected us to finish and 2016 I am expecting 11-1.

Go Vols!
