I don't think the majority of us are mad at either the throat slash (friendly hello or whatever we are calling the gesture now) or the hard fouls. No one was hurt or even close to it, emotion was shown, Dicky V got in a huff and Ashley Judd probably threw some tampons but other than that- game over, Ky won and it's time for the big dance.

A throat slash is making a fist with your thumb out going across your throat.

That isn't a throat slash.

people need to quit being so sensitive..... go watch some tape of basketball in the 90's when it was a real game. Bama-Arkansas and KY-Arkansas had some wars... fouls like that were part of it. Bulls-Pistons..... those two fouls from yesterday might have been no-calls in that series!
Our society is too touchy-feely these days.

My friend yelled "F YOU" into Marcus Monk's face Friday night.
It was awesome.

Kentucky talked trash, we gave them some hard fouls for the road and there will probably be some elbows next season when we see them. Its basketball not ballet. Kentucky and every other team in the SEC has dished out their share of hard fouls over the years.
Monk is a good player and he'll learn to not stir the pot... or some giant Serbo-Croatian mutant in the NBA will flatten him like a pancake. Part of the process every rookie goes through.
Now onto the NCAAT.

Exactly +1 now can all the shitty basketball team fans go respond to threads talking about how great your going to be next year in football.

A thread about how good they'll be in basketball next year would have legs also.
Either that or the people upstairs need to open the coaching changes board.

Kentucky players go to the league.
Arkansas players go work at the mill.
Barford and Kingsley definitely represented Arkansas the way most people think of Arkansas.

Eh, frick this thread and frick Kentucky. There was clear bias in the officiating of that game. All at a critical time when Arkansas had cut the lead down to single digits late. It's nothing new, people have been pointing this out all season long. I have no problem with our players reacting the way they did and I wish they would take it even farther. Arkansas, and every other team in the SEC, is already outmatched against Kentucky without having to fight the refs too. It's fricking bullshite. Monk should have been ejected and the 5 second call should have given Arkansas the ball with a chance to cut the lead to 6. Instead Kentucky spends the next 5 minutes shooting foul shots. They also tried to credit Monk with a 3 ball that was clear as day a shot clock violation. At least that one got over turned. Officiating was horrible.

Ashley Judd is way beyond tampon throwing. This isn't 1999 man.

I'm actually good with that.
I'm starting to think Barford is going to be the leader of this team. You can tell he wants to kick someone's arse.
WPS!!!!!!
