So how do Arky fans view Nolan Richardson these days?

More than a decade has passed since his acrimonious departure from Arkansas, which I'd assume has allowed some of the bad feelings on both sides to dissipate.

Think about it, the last notable Arky team to win a NC was coached by Nolan, and ZERO current Arkansas students would remember it. ZERO of their parents would remember a football NC. But I remember 1994, with Corliss, Corey Beck, and Scotty Thurman knocking off Grant Hill, Jeff Capel and Cherokee Parks in front of president Bill Clinton. Great times for the state of Arkansas.

Of course, Arky's current coach is a Nolan disciple. The hope is that Anderson can bring back the winning ways his mentor established some 25-30 years ago.

So, Hogs, would you invite Nolan to have dinner in your home? Is he fondly remembered by Arky faithful now? Or do you remember the good times, and not the person behind them?

Usually when I view Nolan Richardson it is at either the grocery store or the bank. I did view him at the mall not that long ago. Nice guy.
