I guess what I meant to ask was: does it even matter what the media says? Do you really even care if your team runs up the score?

I think the difference is whether it is your 1st string or backups. If you are playing the 2nd or 3rd string, they need to run the offense to benefit for down the road.

Alabama ran 4 dives from the 10 yard line late in the game against Florida too.


Completely different situation. No SEC fan who's not a Gator fan wants to see Muschamp fired. In all of our vested interests to try to keep him employed...without losing to him...if that's possible.
