Nah, on the contrary - he's only just barely a teenager, so on weekends when he's up all hours with friends over, I don't have a bedtime, so I'll be up a few minutes longer. 
... However, having kids, especially younger ones, really does help moms who enjoy being moms to stay young themselves, not to be self-absorbed, not to become bitter in our "old age," & to remember what's truly important.
Cat, since I generally enjoy/appreciate your usually direct bitchiness, I gotta tell you that your attempts at insults with the "old" thing are bad, like pathetic. I hate to burst your "meanie" bubble, but that's just weak. You're better/worse than that. ... I guess I might be insulted if I actually was really old, excessively vain, insecure, & looked like hell, but I'm not, I don't, & I have "good skin/no wrinkle" genes, so ... meh.
You really seem to be concerned with the age thing, tbh, so these are a couple of tips to help you out, other than the usual skin care regimen crap. ... You probably need to pay close attention to the first one ...
- Excessive alcohol is hellish on your skin. So, you might not care about your liver or kidneys since no one but your internist, surgeon, or medical examiner/pathologist will see them, but everyone will be able to see your shitty skin discolorations, wrinkles, & other visible signs of premature aging & too much booze. Just a heads up.
- When you get overly upset about your birthdays, just remember, each one beats the shite out of the alternative. ...
