So does Saban lay all his rings out...

On the coffee table in recruits homes, even the 2003 one?
Since when someone asked if he wears his National Championship rings, he claimed that he just laid them out on recruiting visits.

Probably.
Not sure what your point is.

Why wouldn't he include the 2003 ring?

How did Bama/LSU week bring us back to shitty offseason threads?

Which one of us do you suspect of being an elite recruit who has seen this personally?

I guess I need to come clean. I saw the rings when I was being recruited at H-back last year. They were really impressive, and I committed on the spot.
Later, Saban told me it wasn't a "committable" offer and they decided to go with someone younger and faster, because a middle-aged overweight H-back would have problems in his scheme.
Of course, it was too late then for anyone else to offer me, so I've hated the fricker ever since.

Why wouldn't he?
Its part of his successful career. I gotta say, I figured Saban would've left for another program by now, but by staying at Bama, he's chosen the tougher road. He could easily go to another program and land every game changing recruit he wanted(Jones type players) again. Especially with so much playing time to sell. Saban hasn't done that though, and if Saban wins another title at Bama! It will be his most impressive title to date.

Butch Jones laid his TaxSlayer Bowl ring on Freddie Swain's coffee table. Freddie told him to get the frick out.

What does Les show recruits on visits? Does he take them out in the front yard and talk about which parts of their lawn are better to pick grass to chew on?
