Oh ok so punt return yards are important but not int return yards. I guess if bama didn't return the ints for touchdowns but scored on offense the win would be better

I think the win was fine. You specifically were the one that said Ole Miss' win was deficient. Well, you got one just like that one. So, figure it out. Was it a fluke or not?

Not to mention Derrick Henry was rushing for like 15 yards a carry(10 for 150 yards at one point) until Ryan Kelly got hurt. Man, I hope he recovers soon, our line went to shite after that.

Bookmark this thread. Then in a couple of weeks, you can copy and paste. Just replace Texas A&M with LSU

Well we out gained Ole miss despite the 80 yard miracle throw so there's that

Not saying Bama can't get the win Nov 7, but it won't look like that.

They beat themselves senseless. Welcome to Bama's world TAMU

That 10 minute t.o.p. differential means something too.

Just be prepared for the arse whopping LSU is going to give itself in a few weeks.

No. Any team that covers interception returns as poorly as A&M does deserves to lose.

It's LSU, it'll be the REFs, the SEC office in Birmingham, and the REC that beats them.

LOL if there was ever a time to beat yourself, it was A&m.
3 PICK SIXES
Come on man

Sure does. It means you had the ball 10 minutes longer than they did yet, without the 3 pick 6s, you scored 3 less points than them

Thank god they count those.
Posted on 10/18/15 at 1:17 pm to bayourougebengal
Well they did have that punt return for a TD, so if you don't count our pick sixes you can't count it. So that would make it 20-16.

Was there any extended period in the game where A&M looked like the better team? I sure don't think so so I think we beat them
Posted on 10/18/15 at 1:20 pm to bayourougebengal
The difference is some of A&M's turnovers were cancelled out by their punt return for a TD and Cyrus Jones fumble on the kickoff return. Alabama got 21 points from non-offensive TDs and turnovers while A&M got 14 points from non-offensive TDs and turnovers. So the numbers were pretty even in that front. Meanwhile, Ole Miss got 24 points from Alabama turnovers compared to Alabama getting 0 points from Ole Miss turnovers. Plus there was a TD that should have been taken away due to an illegal receiver downfield AND the fluky TD that bounced off the Alabama defender. The two situations aren't even remotely comparable.
