Some might argue that Auburn isn't much better. LF averaged 5.11 yards before contact that game. Credit a bad Auburn defense and a good LSU o-line. Not that hard to have a huge game when you can run halfway to a first down before getting touched.

And I would argue that Fournette has accomplished what he has with no threat of a passing game and a predictable offense while Lambert has accomplished what he has with the threat of one of the top RB's in the nation and a coach committed to a balanced offense.

"Sub par" SEC East defenses. You are being too kind. South Carolina is dead last in the entire SEC and their 7.3 Yards per play is #124 in the nation.....ULM is #100.

Lets just completely ignore all of last season.

Let's not. Tell me how Lambert did against SEC defenses last year since he wasn't facing SEC defenses and he was throwing more INT's than TD's in the ACC.

So LSU fans want to count last year when it comes to Lambert's QB stats since they weren't very good (at uva), yet when it comes to RB stats last year doesn't matter at all and only the first 2 games of '15 do.

LSU fans are so fricking hypocritical.

The thread was about SEC defenses. I'm not the idiot that brought up last year. What happened last year in a weaker conference was germaine to my previous post.

The thread is about UGA's record setting QB being the clear Heisman front-runner dummy. Not about AU's awful D.

Pretty sure there is something goin on behind the scenes at Aubarn and their D gave up last weekend. It was comical, like they were doin it on purpose.

Yes, let's all agree and move on so UGA fans can feel better about themselves.
