If Young doesn’t play and Tennessee wins, the narrative will be Tennessee beat a team without their Heisman player.

Couldn't give a shlt. We'll be without our All American receiver. I don't see you whining about that.

If you truly believe Tennessee is the better team, your going to want to play against a Bryce Young led team.

Couldn't give a shlt. Every year for the last fifteen years we've played the Gumps with someone important hurt.

This is football. Everyone is playing everyone with someone important hurt.

So cry me a river.

I have it on good authority that he is playing and will be 100 percent. All your Gumpadres around here have assured me of it.

Saban has been very clear:

"We hope to be able to maybe try to hopefully get him to try to get ready and maybe throw a pass or two and hopefully his arm won't fall off. We'll see tomorrow"

He couldn't be any more clear. Brycie is 100 percent.

That's what usually happens when your arm gets torn out of its socket and you go squealing like a little girl into the injury tent. A little soreness is to be expected. If he loves Alabama, he'll play. He shouldn't care about his future, his signing bonus, his career in teh NFL. All must sacrificed to St Nick.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided what is likely to be his final update on quarterback Bryce Young (shoulder) before the Crimson Tide takes on No. 6 Tennessee on Saturday.

quote:

“Bryce has practiced some this week,” Saban said Thursday night on his radio show. “I think it comes down to does he feel and do we feel that he can throw the ball effectively enough. He’s not gonna hurt himself by doing it. I just don’t know how much it will hurt him if he does it. He’s done it on a limited basis. So that’s the question, and nobody’s gonna know that until Saturday comes. He won’t know, I won’t know it, nobody will know it.

The question is this: Can Tennessee score 38 points against Alabama's defense? That's what it will take for them to win. Alabama will score at least 37 points no matter who plays QB.

First things first. You all were wrong. I was right. After we get that out of the way we can discuss how many points we're gonna get.

You are a bit of a dick. Is that the look you are going for or is it an innate trait?

From Greg McKelroy yesterday

“If Bryce Young’s unavailable, it will obviously lead to them having to completely alter their offensive identity," McElroy said on ESPN’s College Football Live. "I however, based on my knowledge of the situation, I believe that Bryce Young will be available, I believe that Bryce Young will play. And that him sitting out last week was ultimately precautionary. So I’m very very confident that he’ll play this week.”

I brought knowledge. Go back and read the first post. You Gumps piled on with your asinine idiocy, so I slammed you back.

So cry me a river, Gump.

OK, I'll play. Bryce Young isn't throwing in practice this week. Now back to my point. Models suggest Alabama will score in the upper 30s WITHOUT Young at QB. Can Tennessee score 37, 38 points against the Alabama defense? The chances of that are slim to none. So, the real question isn't whether or not Alabama will beat Tennessee without Bryce Young, it's whether Bama wins by the 7 points they're favored by, or whether they win by 20.

If Young doesn’t play there is no excuse for Tennessee to not win relatively comfortably.
