Why does Arkansas always seem to have a cartoon character for a coach? Between Houston and John L and now Bert, its a regular comedy show in Fayettenam.

He can be a cartoonish but so can Gus with his nerd vests and glasses and the goofy/crybaby faces he makes on the sidelines.

Bert realized he doesn't have the power to black ball and doesn't want to piss off all referees.. Too late..
So now he back tracks and praises the guy 2 days after breaking him down, he's clearly trying to not screw his team out of calls from the refs.
This is a gaff by bielema, and I am a bielema fan personally. But he realized the ramifications and is trying to fix the situation

See my thread here. where I originally posted that screenshot above. As I mentioned there, you can see at the 45:30 mark that the RT and Hand had moved into the RG slot, and that's the reason why the umpire was looking right at him. The umpire was looking in the guard hole, exactly where he's supposed to look.
Smart move by Bert apologizing though. He was about to get buttfricked by every officiating crew in the SEC. And that may happen anyway.
And yeah, now it appears that Bert is a bald faced liar.

His attitude changed from Monday to Wednesday? Something tells me that he got a call from the home office who told him exactly where his place is in the world and that if he did not want a hefty fine put on his fat azz, he better shut those big jowls. I think Bert got the message.

nope nope nope, the message is that if you call a bad game on us you're about to get blasted on "social media". All anyone wants is an honest game. Unless ref's want to lose their job's or become a pariah they'll be on their "best behavior" when calling a hog game.

Bret has become the coach I hate to watch during a game. He bitches to the refs the whole game. I have seen the dude basically take a dive to get a call before. He would serve himself better by coaching his players more instead of screaming at the refs all game.

His attitude hasnt changed, his public statement on the matter got corrected by the SEC. I think he is starting to realize that the typical whining he did in the Big10 isnt going to be dealt with in the same manor
