Nearly every YouTube channel, forum, etc says he's CUM 2.0.

How long before the heart attack?

I don't think we are saying he's the next Urban Meyer per say. I think we're merely citing an example of a coach coming in from out west with no ties to the SEC at all and being successful in recruiting. Nick Saban was in a similar situation when he arrived in Baton Rouge at the end of 1999.

Nick Saban went 6-6 in the regular season his first year at Alabama with a late season loss to an embarrassing G5 school before playing Auburn fairly close in the Iron Bowl. He also had a stellar recruiting class after that first year.

Hugh Freeze has done the same.

Do you think Auburn fans should cite that as a reason why Freeze might go on a 17 year dominant run?

Bama is bigger than Saban;
11 National Championships under four different coaches before he set foot on campus, AND a winning record against EVERY SEC school in football.

We built this conference; we ain't going anywhere.

He very well could be! I don’t think anyone thought Urban was going to do what he did, as fast as he did..

Sounds great. How many of those came from Bear Bryant? Take those two coaches away and Alabama football is very good but no better than several other schools. Alabama has been very fortunate to have had Saban and Bryant.

His record so far at LSU is average. He was blown out in every single BCS/Playoff game he had at Notre Dame. Good luck.

Reminds me of when Bear retired and Bama fans then said there would be no drop off in dominance..

He won the west in year 1. He isn’t Saban but guess what, Harsin 2.0 isn’t either and guaranteed he doesn’t win the west in year 1

We have a coach whom you say is a loser who has no chance of having a successful career coaching at UofA. Yet you have a Yankee coach who is a proven 2-3 loss head coach.
We have a coach who wants to be at Bama and by everything being written you have a coach who’s got his eye on Uof Michigan. And I promise you if he does take that job you will only have a bunch of flag players who couldn’t make a Greek team on the field at Tiger Stadium trying to uphold the honor of LSU.Good luck with that…
