I know we were supposed to "Fear the Thumb" but I didn't realize it meant because it would one day grow so large as to block out the sun.

The kid standing there with the "Soon" look is a ringer for Ryan Gosling in The Notebook.

Not gonna lie, I only noticed the weirdo kid with the Bama bangs for a while before even seeing Tubbs. That rapey look in his eyes had me in a trance

This.

Everyone needs to quit with the "Tubbs was great", "Shug sucked", "Bear cheated" nonsense and focus on the really important question - which is how long before Gus comes out of a Chloroform-induced haze to find himself strapped to a St Andrew's cross and that kid lovingly stroking his hair.

It's not weird for an ex coach to come to a game.

It's weird for him to be out mingling with tailgaters, wearing his current team's hat, and pointing at the current coach as he walks into the stadium.

He still has a house and friends here.

Tubbs exercised an option in his contract to get his cash without working.

He took one year off, went to Texas Tech, and has been working ever since.

Does this remind anyone else of when Bertier goofily pointed at the coach in Remember the Titans:

No? Just me? Alright. I thought both were equally stupid looking, but carry on.
