I'd rather just be done with him. I'm not sold on his ability, especially if he doesn't want to be here.

It's a real possibility he would have been beat out by jr. transfer Hubanek anyways.

Personally, I'm looking forward to an upperclassman QB starting for the first time in a long, long time.

He comes off as a self entitled little twat to be honest.

Never, ever should have leaked he wanted to transfer. At this point I would say he has to go. And Blinn Juco guys have a pretty good track record.

I do not want to pile on A&M, but I think this kid has made his future toxic at College Station. How the hell can he lead when all his teammates know he wanted to get out?

Just start Hubanek and beat Louisville. Petrino will probably play five quarterbacks against you, so I think yall win pretty easily.

I saw a report that he is still going to be the "Interim" QB for the bowl game. Interim QB? WTF?

I don't see what all the fuss about Kyler possibly leaving is all about. The real loss was Kyle Allen, the starter. The fact that a starting QB transferred is much more troubling than the possibility of an undersized QB transferring who was given several chances to start but underwhelmed each time.

Agree with this. I wish we had a Kyle on our team. Would never want a Kyler.

Hoping Kyler transfers cuz that would likely mean Sumlin gone very soon. The trajectory has been down since 2012. Hope the Swagcopter crashes.

I don't know the specifics, but I think the deal with Kyler might be him not transferring to play football somewhere else, but retiring from football to focus on baseball. Most people think his pro prospects are much better in baseball than football, and that might have him mulling over his future. I was reading something, and they said that kyler could be considering transferring from A&M to JUCO, playing baseball this spring, and then going into the MLB. This sounds a lot more plausible than him transferring (from a school he would be starter) and sitting out a year of eligibility.

Funny to hear all the criticisms of KM from aggie fans when this time last year he was the second coming of Johnny Football himself. It is big when any team/HC loses two 5 star QB's in one semester. And since Sumlin is on the presumed hot seat, he needs a QB who can win for him next season.

So is Sumlin an alcoholic that crashes recruits cars or not?

He's still expected to transfer

If he wants to play QB he should. The SEC is not kind to noddle armed midget QB's no matter how fast they are.

No idea.. I did talk to a player and he told me that no one knows but Sumlin and the Murray family. The team says that things are fine, and that even if he left, Jake Hoobastank would be just fine. To be honest, none of the 3 QB's did much this year to wow anyone, so I doubt if both Kyle and Kyler leave, we will change much.

A bigger change would be a new OC. Look what Chavis did for us. Without him, we'd have lost almost ever game this year.

Never heard of a QB wanting to transfer after he's guaranteed the starting job and his main competition transferred.

What a softie.
