Exactly. Completely different ballgame when a tournament starts.

Of the top five teams in the final SEC standings, LSU is the only one who played all four of the others. Not only did LSU play all of them, they played them all on the road and had a winning record against them (7-5).
Florida played two, LSU and Kentucky, both at home, and went 4-2.
Case closed.

Can't really compare college baseball to the football and basketball product. It's like bragging about winning the SEC in softball or golf

It's funny because you are discounting the one sport your school has ever been good at ever.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Florida and LSU are co champions, but Florida did win the series against LSU. Also Florida is the 1 seed while LSU is the 2 seed. That would make Florida the champions.
GEAUX GATORS
On a serious note, congrats on a great season. Hope to see y'all in the championship round

You're wrong. LSU and FU are co-champs.

I think it's more than fair to have the tourney settle this debate

As good as Florida was at the first of the season, the typical O'Sullivan team showed up late in the year. I will gladly share the SEC Title.
And you just made it clear that you didn't watch UF baseball this year

I was about to ask that corny dog wth he was talking about. Such a stupid comment he or she made up.

It's our 17th SEC title. I'm pretty sure we know what winning the SEC looks like, and giving up 20 hits in one game at home doesn't look like winners. Sweeping on the road to end the season.... That's your SEC champs

We should have swept y'all when we had the chance. Ran out of pitching and blew the lead in Game 3.
ETA: Then we wouldn't be debating about co-championships. We'd be 1. Y'all be 2.

Didn't LSU fans keep correcting A&M fans last year when they called themselves conference champions in basketball to "co-conference champions"?
Posted on 5/21/17 at 10:40 am to BayouBengals03
UF finished runner up in football (lost seccg) and basketball (#2 to UK) and share the baseball crown.
