nah. he's one of the top 5 (maybe top 3) S&C coaches in the country. He's currently the best one in the SEC. Results on field speak for themselves.

He isn't the best, he just has the best steroid dealer.

Smart did. He was a pretty good DB. His specialty was horse collar tackles which are illegal now.

Muschamp mostly played on special teams. He made a lot of tackles on kick-offs, but hardly ever saw the field as a position player.

You mean like catch Widespread Panic doing an acoustic set on top of the Ga Theatre before bar hopping to 70 downtown bars?

Well Widespread is terrible so check one for Auburn.

Yes Athens definitely has more bars but Auburn has bars and every college bar has plenty of alcohol and girls sooo...

You're right Athens > Auburn

In all seriousness though thanks for proving my point.

ETA: Let me reiterate Athens is awesome but so is Auburn and so are most other SEC college towns.

NCAA does random drug testing for each school. School has no control over when it happens and usually has less than 24 hours advance notice. Cochran has been at Bama for 9 years. How many players at Bama have been busted for steroids in that time?

I forgot, you're Auburn. There is always Momma Goldbergs and catching Colt Ford at the mudbog in Notasulga.

So his first decision as a head coach is a huge mistake?

Will Cowart follow the chimp to UGA?

smh

I don't think it makes a difference for Florida, honestly. But Muschmap appears cursed with being a loser.

When I was in grad school at UGA, there was a protest for some dumb liberal cause on campus. The Red and Black interviewed people about it, and a couple were from Auburn. When asked why they came, they said something along the lines of "because we don't have protests about stuff like this in Auburn."

Proudest day of my life as an Auburn person.

I could see him going to SC though.

Wasn't it floated he would be the HCIW lasting year there?

If they were willing to make that promise then, it is logical to think he will get the offer.

Not sure SC fans will like it, though.

Kirby doesn't need to deal with Muschamp's sideshow act. He already romps all over Gus on the Auburn sideline, and Gus has been doing this a few years. A first-year coach doesn't need Will Muschamp to be on his coaching staff.

I don't think so either. A new HC doesn't really need somebody like that overshadowing you...especially if defense is his specialty.

Athens is awesome, Auburn is awesome in a different way. There's not a single thing you can do in Athens that you can't do in Auburn.

* buy a lottery ticket
* go to a tittie bar across the street from campus

Athens = "Sin City"
