i dont think anyone actually watched the ole miss game. we lose one of our biggest offensive weapons to a gruesome injury that clearly shook our team, and our online play caller, replacing him with a RS freshman who had not played before on the road, and gave ole miss 2 unforced special teams turnovers that led directly to scores. despite all that (and acknowledging a missed facemask call), we were still in position to win the game only to have a last minute TD pass in the endzone bounce off of a 6'6 240 TEs hands and go right to a tiny db for an int. on top of that we inexplicably get good bo. perfect storm for ole miss. play that game 10 times bama wins 8

Who besides a good AU team and a mid pack LSU team have y'all beaten?
I'm beginning to think LSU is more than just a mid pack team, but I'll give you they weren't that way when we played them. Like is said, not bashing,I just don't understand some fans reasoning behind the confidence they have in the next few weeks

ou clearly live in a fantasy world. LSU is going to be a hell of a game in which Alabama will have to play very well to win.
By all means though, continue trying to create some fictional narrative that nobody is giving LSU a chance and Alabama is disrespecting / overlooking LSU. Maybe it will work.
I guarantee I am not making up the discussions I've seen here and elsewhere, which were all a variation of "We play #1 and #3, win those and we're in."
Obviously my statement will bring out the comments about the LSU game, and those who are thinking about it. That doesn't change anything that's already been said.
Here is an example of what I am talking about (from Facebook, you have the ability to look on this site yourself)
quote:
Auburn beats Ole Miss, BAMA beats State and Bama beats Auburn, Bama beats Georgia for Sec championship and goes to National Championship..........

Okay, and there are 10 times as many examples on this very site of Alabama fans discussing how difficult it is going to be to win against LSU next Saturday night. I don't blame you for trying to create a "nobody respects us / us against the world" narrative, but it's just not based in reality.

There was a thread full of you gumpy tards seriously confused as to why LSU fans are so confident. GTFO here with your attempts to minimize the typical Bama fan attitude.
Yes, it is based in reality. I understand your confusion considering Bama fans haven't lived there in a very long time.

I think its a combination of knowing what kind of talent we have, the way we seem to play at home, and the UAB game
Focus is on LSU right now tho

Because being defeatist is LSU's schtick. We're Alabama. We're supremely confident and arrogant. What are you? New?

No reason to get mad about being wrong. It's not a big deal.

Still on the UAB game? Really? Is it not clear that we sand bagged and didn't show everything? If state plays UAB tomorrow the outcome is clearly far more severe

Not at all is the thing. Feeling pretty good where we are at right now

I'm not mad and I'm not wrong. I am actually looking forward to it being amped up (which of course it will since yall can't help yourselves at this point) the next 10 days because I had so much fun with the Ole Miss posters. I'd love a repeat with the Bama posters.

If this is what the Grind looks like these days, I'm off the train.

Most Alabama fans I know understand the importance and the difficulties of Nov.8. The reason they talk about MSU and AU more is that those are the teams ahead of us in the polls that we have the possibility of beating. We win out, we are in. Not because we would have beaten LSU but because we would have beaten #1 and #3.

So, Bama fans predicting they'll win out is different how than you guaranteeing they won't?
You're definitely a pot...js
I think the chances are much greater that Bama doesn't win out but you're hypocritical for knocking Bama fans for considering the scenario.
