No. The ACC and Big 12 are both marginalized and really meh beyond a few teams, with a lot of clunkers thrown in the mix. I like the current conferences. The SEC will never be dethroned.

This. The only 3 stable conferences are the SEC, Pac 10, and Big 10. I believe the ACC will survive, but the Big 12 will ultimately get cherry picked to help some conferences get to 16. We will ultimately end up with 4 16 team power conferences.

I understand when the SEC expands it will be Duke and UNC and the decision has been made already. This came up when Maryland left the ACC and the agreement for Maryland to leave included some provisions for Duke and UNC to go to the SEC. This is based on Duke and UNC adding to the SEC Basketball structure.

Yes. Float trips are a big deal in Missouri. The only downside is that most of the best spots are in the dry counties that border Arkansas... it takes some serious logistics at times to overcome.

The 16 team conferences are a pipe dream. They just don't work, and you can't force people to take teams they don't want.

ECU has excellent potential, but they're a geographical outpost. There also the only school in NC that gives a shite about football, so there's that.

Then you should put tubing the Little Miami with some mostly naked Redhawks coeds who I am pretty sure can drink most on here under the table (Seriously, the women in southern Ohio are some beer drinking women) on your list.

None of those schools fit because the SEC tends to favor large flagship public Universities or brand name private schools (Vanderbilt)...
If Notre Dame was in the South, then maybe.. but alas, they're not.
But if I had to.. Cincinnati and ECU.

Notre Dame would be the #1 dream choice but I highly doubt they would ever be willing to join the SEC.
Of the schools on the list I'd say Cincy and East Carolina b/c of the populations in their states and how it would aid the SECN.
Also, I'd rather have James Madison move up than take Old Dominion if a non ACC Virginia team was in play.
