As was Alabama. Where is your #1 pick?

What y'all totally fail to realize is that even with the #1 NBA draft pick, LSU was still just a middle-of-the-road SEC basketball team....and everyone else sees that.

completely wrong. hell the whole tone of the OP shows this to be wrong.

So y'all weren't just an average SEC team last year?..and nobody realizes it?...Really?

ummm no. you said lsu fans dont realize they were middle of the road. if you think that you have no pulse on lsu fan's frustration with the basketball season. absolutely none.

I totally agree about the quality of Alabama's BB team, BUT we'd have had sense enough to not beat our chests if we were only average with the top draft pick. It doesn't speak well for the program.

I can't think of worse publicity for a college basketball program than having the #1 pick in the NBA draft, again.

So y'all are actually crowing that y'all had the #1 draft pick even though your team was just average, right?

What level of success do you deem acceptable to promote the #1 pick in the draft?

I drew the line at beating Kentucky, Alabama, A&M, Arkansas, Florida, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, etc in 1 season. That's pretty good for LSU basketball.

Damn, man! Y'all didn't even make post season play! Hell, you didn't even win 20 games.

The best part about the draft was that these a-holes were on standby, ready to start 5 pages of threads about LSU ruining Ben Simmons' chances of being the No 1 pick. Now they are relegated to whining about LSU gloat threads.

Meh. I like to give the OP shite because he cries in every single thread that says something negative about Simmons and has been on this "downfall" of Kentucky Basketball since the end of the season.

It's only taking the bait if you take it that seriously. I didn't know I had to add laughing gifs to every post I make to show I'm not crying in the floor in the fetal position or something.

You may not be, but I am crying on the floor in the fetal position when you say mean things about Ben Simmons.

FTR, I think the Simmons hype buried LSU this year. JJ is partly to blame for mismanaging that. I disagree with people who say BS is lazy, didn't care or was a cancer to the team. BS' worst attribute is that he isn't selfish. He was great at LSU and he'll be a great pro.

Skal didn't even deserve to go 28th but what the hell, it's another first round feather in our cap. If he pans out I'll be shocked.

As for the LSU fans going on about the #1 pick, stfu. UK fans are the only ones who care about this stuff and we've been there done that so you're not impressing anyone. The big takeaway from the draft was more foreign guys and one and dones, another year of the NBA not giving a frick about giving the people what they want to make it interesting again. NBA is shite.

I used to think that was true, but this thread is one example to prove otherwise.

LSU fans stop bragging about another #1 draft pick, but I'll use this opportunity to brag again about UKs first round picks!

The greatest center in basketball history

The most recent No. 1 overall pick.

Shaq just realized his son won't live up to the standards around LSU.
