Gumps, please explain. You are talking down our victory because we forced 6 turnovers. Please explain. If Bama forced 6 turnovers, we would have hundreds of posts about Bama's D being better than the Steel Curtain. You guys need to chill with it. You would think you guys being ranked #3 wouldn't have little brother syndrome already after the Mighty Chiziki has started 3-0.

I'm not sure how many turnovers were "forced" last night. Brown seemed like he was throwing the ball directly to barners.

Forced my arse! WVU's QB is as dumb as a rock. That dude threw dead on strikes to barn defenders. An armless man would've intercepted those passes.

I love what Roof is doing with that D. He had WVU right where he wanted them all night. He allowed WVU to just eat up yardage and the sneaky bastard waited until WVU was in the redzone to force a couple of those turnovers. That took balls!

comeon CPa MOST of those were not forced Jesus you cant take the facts and twist them to what you want them to be (see 12 NC). everyon saw the game, He ovethrew 2wideopen receivers down the field and then overthrew his rb twice who tipped the ball into the Dlinemans hands. You do know you let the dline through on screen passes right.
oh and what the hell he scrambled and ate up 2 min on the one pass play before he took a 50 yd loss on a sack He sucked and you know it. Dont get me wrong mistakes are part of the game but dont act like your d went in there and took the ball away.

It's like the LSU/UW game. I stood idly by and watched people talk shite about LSU (struggled) beating a team that went 0fer last year. Who cares? We got a W, and the season will play out.
I think AU gets 6-8 wins this year. Maybe eek out 9. Maybe.

A win is a win is a win. Take it and run but don't claim it was a beatdown or that AU would beat that team 2 out of three tries. WV should have won the game and even Auburn knows they dodged a bullett. Auburn's QB is the worst I've seen in the SEC and their defense was overmatched at almost every position.
Auburn won. Be happy. Don't delude yourselves. You're still bottom 3 in the SEC and you've got some bad beatdowns coming.

you are the one who started the thread about you forcing turnovers. And yes barry is right a win is a win but when yuo start a thread titled Since when is forcing turnovers a bad thing and most were unforced errors did you not think you werent going to get called on it on this board.

I'm not sure, but Larry Coker went 12-0 and won a title his first year. Hard to beat that. As far as SEC, I have no clue. Fulmer went 10-2 his first year...
