For all the haters...I understand wanting to beat your opponents, but wanting them to play poorly against other conferences makes all of us look weak. What's the first thing WE say about Oregon? LSU and Auburn both beat them when it counted. But what is Oregon saying? "We manhandled Tennessee - we're better now and can manhandle anybody in the SEC." Any SEC team that loses outside the SEC gives them ammo for their SOS arguments. Just look at the Big 10 and the Big 12...or the ACC for that matter.

So you were pulling for Auburn in 2010?

If an SEC team makes it to the title game, I would most prefer to see them blown out in embarrassing fashion.

But I doubt that happens.

It's not that we don't want the SEC to win. We are just sick of your school. It's become a Bama streak, not a SEC streak.

I am an Auburn fan and graduate.

The SEC has never done anything to make a difference in my life.
It is a bunch of suits in Birmingham.

I am neither for nor against any school not named Auburn.

Yes, to all. SEC dominance means higher SOS, higher rankings in the polls, better bowl games, more exposure on television, and more money for everybody. It elevates everybody's recruiting on a national level. High school players nationwide want to play in the SEC because of bowl success (not just the MNC game) and demonstrated dominance. A string of defeats and we'd be losing players not to each other, but instead to teams like Louisville, Miami, and WVU.

Is that why you guys stay home and don't come play us? It's funny that you're so timid about playing quality OOC opponents.

Auburn and Tennessee are the only two I would root against. LSU, Florida, Georgia I wouldn't care one way or another. Any other SEC team it would be pretty awesome to see win the National Title.

I will always pull for the SEC. Out of the SEC teams who have never won a MNC, or have won but it's been a generation or more ago, I would like to see Georgia get themselves a crystal football.

This is what boggles my mind about people that keep trumpeting SEC pride.

The SEC is a frickin business, it's a corporation. You can't go to school at SEC. You can't go visit SEC's campus, unless you want to see an office building. Your favorite player didn't play for SEC. I didnt grow up dreaming of going to SEC someday. And on and on.

I have absolutely zero allegiance whatsoever to the SEC. Just because they happen to be the umbrella under which UGA is located doesn't mean anything to me. I'm a UGA fan and that's it.

I hope your sports program, and most of the SECs lose everything they compete in from now until their athletic department are shut down.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have this much vested interest/hatred in these programs, then I would think having them cease to exist would be a bad thing wouldn't it? I would think it would be much better for them to be around for your team to beat, no?

In fact, people saying that they want other teams in the conference to lose every game are very short sighted. Great your team now plays in a conference worse than the Sunbelt. Congratulations - you get to go undefeated and play in the New Orleans Bowl.
--------------------------------------------------

You've gone and done it now! This imbecile won't be worth a shite all day long(if he even would have been to start with), as he tries to make your post "compute" in his pea-brain. I'm pretty sure that this is why we sometimes catch folks like this staring at the sun for extended periods of time.

The benefits derived from a strong SEC (the organization that Auburn is a part of) is shared by all the SEC teams. If you bunch of clowns are so anti-SEC, when the NCAA and TV revenue checks come in and are ready to be distributed, REFUSE TO TAKE THE MONEY! Y'all are like welfare humps, bitching about the government, all the while holding your hand out for yo gubment check.

Who cares if the SEC wins it this year or not ?! 7 in a row has never happened before so 8 doesn't really make all that much difference to me... I would pull for Bama to beat Florida State but if they play Oregon I'd probably pull for the Ducks.
