I quickly did the the math for Auburn during the same time span - we led Alabama at the end of quarters 12/32 times.

Bama has the longest streak, from 1971-81, an 11 win streak. Now Saban has an 8 win streak. Saban hasn't lost to Tennessee since he's been at Alabama.
