No, there hasn't been. Luckily, I know AU has the potential to win the SEC a couple times a decade, so that makes the bipolar aspect of being an AU fan OK. AU isn't going to be as consistent as state schools, and I'm ok with that. The only thing that irks me is a team that gives up/doesn't play with sound fundamentals/isn't competitive. The rest I can tolerate.
