Maybe. If I'm forking over $1 million to profit off someone's signature, my contract won't allow him to sign anything that's not making me a percentage though.

Everyone has the same type deals.

It allows the company to set up signings, whether it be something big like at a Tristar event or something small like a Flowers By Rita signing. The event holder pays them a sum to get them there, then they split the earnings(not 50-50) of whatever the price they decided to set it at.

I worked an event similar to what I just said back in February with Vick, Smoltz, Spiller, Ryan, etc...
