As many options out there why does SECN and ESPN pick such hideous sideline reporters? Fox Sports is far superior with female camera talent

I reside in the local TV market that she's been in for last 15 years and have never even thought that, even in her early 20s. No upper lip whatsoever. The MASH nickname for Frank Burns comes to mind... ferret face. Also overrated skill-wise.

She's not that bad. She's a good reporter,I feel sorry for her. She's had a rough life, her parents both died of fentanyl overdose on the same night 20 years ago while she was in college. She is a motivational speaker also telling her story about drug addictions.

Sideline reporters should fill one of two categories: Former player with experience and superior knowledge of X's and O's, or someone extremely pleasant to look at. Lauren Sisler is neither. Nor are Marty or McGee.

Correct, she falls outside of those qualifications also. But somehow 20-30 years ago ESPN favored her to be their primary sideline rep on key games, always with Fowler and Herbstreit.
