90% of the women at SEC schools not named Kentucky (and I guess maybe Vandy to an extent) couldn't point basketball players out of a lineup. They have no clue.

My wife went to 10-15 Alabama home games with me a year and watches them on TV now with me. The only player the last 3 years she'd recognize in public is Trevor.

Your wife has attended more basketball games than the vast majority of the undergraduate female population. At least here, I'd be willing to bet that most co-eds would be better able to identify Arie K and Leon Brown than they would Levi Randolph or Rodney Cooper.

Well we were undergrads at the time and she enjoyed the spectacle (what little of it there was). This was during the end of the Gottfried era.

Oh man. You can't buy publicity like this. Before, kids assumed you'd have to go to the big boys -- Kentucky basketball or Bama football or the like -- to really take advantage of all the sex and benefits of being a college athlete. Now they know that they can go to Vandy and get the same things. So you want a great education and all the poon you can handle?
