Implementing any of those would mean the end of the SEC as a dominant conference.

Recruiting caps are the funniest. How are you going to force kids to go to schools where they don't want to go?

If a kid can't go to LSU or Bama, and they are that quality. . .they are probably going to go to USC/OSU/TX/etc rather than an Ole Miss or Miss State

It's a poster on a message board. It's not something official. This is taking a shitty post from a message board and making a thread about it...terrible.

Oh, except for 70%, or more, of those responding to the OP appear to be supporting his premise.

Big fricking difference ... recognize it, absorb it, own it.

In their defense, that board is mostly filled with the fringe crazies of their fanbase.

Ask Eric about it. He posts there.

The problem with America right there. Let's bring the top down to us instead of us working to get to the top. It will be our downfall as a country.

TigerMatt SC is in the same damn boat. When we joined the SEC we weren't even in the same solar system in terms of what we needed to compete in the SEC and the records throughout the '90s-early 2000s show that, but when Spurrier got here he changed that. Along with former AD Eric Hyman SC raised the funds and has built and continues to build the infrastructure needed to be a worthy SEC athletic program, and not just in football, and the results are starting to show.

Even Spurrier admitted when we came here he didn't realize how far behind we really were.
