Yes with LSU winning the WS!
I believe because of our experiance in tourny play we have as good a shot at making it through that Reginal than anyone does. Who knows there is a long shot at us bringing the SR back to BR, now wouldn't that be something?
Back in '89 we where sent to Texas A&M when they where the #1 overall seed and beat them on their own field. I believe we have better hitting this year than we did back then. That was when hitting in most cases was better than the pitching unlike now where the pitching is better than the hitting. LSU proved that we are not to be taken litely during this time of year. This is what LSU baseball is all about winning championships. There is only one team with more tropheies than LSU and that is USC way back in the late '60's to early '70's. Texas is tied with us with 6 USC 12.
Hopefully all the SEC teams make it through but we know that someone will falter, but, nonetheless good luck to you all and hope no one gets hurt through it all.

I think we will cruise through our regional, but falter against Arizona State in the Supers.
Hopefully I am wrong and we play them like we did last year and take 2 in a row.

Florida landed an easy regional. I think they sweep through their regional, and then beat Miami in the supers. UF has been nigh unbeatbale at home this year.
Regardless, a great year for such a young team.

Our history of losing to Miami post-season is a long and storied tradition.
I mean, we should beat them....which is why I think we lose in a close game three. Baseball - where the pros easily make the playoffs losing four out of ten games.

Arkansas rolls through their Regional. And seeing how we own Arizona St i think Arkansas can beat them.
