IMO, ESPN bases their preseason rankings too heavily on a team's most recent recruiting class.

I loathe preseason rankings with every fiber of my being.

Rankings should be postponed until after the first 3 games, IMO.

Nobody smart takes any offseason predictions seriously.

They're just best guesses, or flat out trolling/sensationalism.

Besides, the 2014 predictions were actually pretty good in retrospect.

3 of their top 4 made the final 4 playoffs.

Most years it's way worse. Remember in 2012 USC was preseson #1 and finished unranked?

My only problem with this poll is the horrible spelling. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they spelled Mizzou like that. (see number 8).
