Yeah but we jumped to a better conference that paid more

We would been better off taking Prairie View A&M instead of Texass A&M.

Personally, I think it would be fun if the SEC West created a separate conference, added Texas, and then took turns curb-stomping them for the next decade. Your thoughts, Sarge?

Tulane was a member of the old Southern Conf and the SEC.
On Feb. 25, 1921, representatives from 14 of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association’s (SIAA) 30 members met to establish the Southern Intercollegiate Conference. On hand at the inaugural meeting were officials from Alabama, Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn), Clemson, Georgia, Georgia School of Technology (Georgia Tech), Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi A&M (Mississippi State), North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) and Washington & Lee.
Play began in the fall of 1921, and a year later, six more schools joined the fledgling league, including Tulane (which had attended the inaugural meeting but had elected not to join), Florida, Louisiana (LSU), Mississippi, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. VMI joined in 1925 and Duke was added in 1929.
By the 1930s, membership in the Southern Conference had reached 23 schools ... 13 institutions west and south of the Appalachian Mountains were reorganizing as the Southeastern Conference. Members of the new league included Alabama, Alabama Polytechnic Institute, Florida, Georgia, Georgia School of Technology, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Mississippi A&M, University of the South, Tennessee, Tulane and Vanderbilt.

So that's a vote for Tulane?

Sure, Tulane has as many SEC championships as:
Kentucky
State
Arkansas
Missouri
South Caroline
Texas A&M
Vanderbilt...
COMBINED.

Pro: It is the only way an Aggie could beat a team from Louisiana...
Con: it is Tulane or LaTech
Notice you pack of nads did not suggest ULM, they beat Bama and Arky all the time.

I'm currently a chemical engineering student at LaTech. The administration at Tech doesn't care about athletics. The schools focuse is strictly academic and won't let anything take away from that. Im surprised the football program is as big as it is. Also Tech doesn't bring anything to the table. It has a very small fan base and doesn't bringing in any money. The football program is supported by rent-a-win games to power five schools.

Tulane has more SEC football titles than A&M could ever dream of

Dumb thread is dumb, but I'd imagine if the goal is to come up with a scenario to get under LSU skin, then the school to add is ULL but refer to them in all the press releases as the "University of Lousiana", and plaster "Lousiana" over all of the graphics.
