Yep. TT is going down to OU. Then we will have the typical BCS joke / debacle. God the BCS is a JOKE. There is just no way to crown a champ without some sort of playoff. That is why every sport known to man has one.
So, the SECCG is likely to be for the national championship. I say the winnner should just tell the BCS they are a joke and stick the bowl game up their arse since the NC will already be decided after the SECCG and the BCS CG will not prove anything anyway.

Texas Tech should be #1 right now over Alabama. Doesn't really matter too much though as they both control their own destiny.

If they beat OU in two weeks they might have an argument, otherwise, no. Most of the defenses in the Big 12 seem pretty weak but OU is pretty balanced. If they beat the Sooners then I say they deserve a #1 ranking.

Texas Tech beating Texas far out trumps Bama's win over Georgia, and their win over Okie St. far out trumps Bama's overtime win over LSU. Alabama really has no case at all of being ranked higher than Texas Tech.

They do deserve number one, and they did last week. However, the polls will remain unchanged.. and it doesn't really matter.

TT played great against Texas and Okie St. but Bama gets more credit from the voters because our big wins have come on the road. It's ALOT tougher to win a game on the road against a quality opponent than it is at home.
That being said, it doesn't really matter who is #1 or #2 right now. There's still alot of football left to be played.

You are insane. Your jealousy of the SEC is clouding what minute amount of objectivity you may have.
Clemson was in the top 10 and Georgia was in the top 3 .Georgia was on the road. ITS NOT ALABAMA'S FAULT THAT THESE TEAMS AREN'T AS STRONG AS THEY WERE PROJECTED. And part of that reason is ALABAMA DESTROYED THEM. I don't want to hear the lame 'well look what Ga did in the second half'.
Alabama winning yesterday in Baton Rouge is 2x more impressive than them winning in Lubbock. Texas Tech's two big wins "Far out trumping" is just stupid.

Alabama isn't winning all these big games at home, they are winning in some of the most hostile enviroments in all of college football. Coming in to Death Valley, and keeping your composure even after that blocked kick? People who were there can testify it was one of the loudest moments in school history. Taking it to Georgia during the Black Out? You can't compare. SOS goes in Alabama's favor, IMO

Let's see Texas Tech in undefeated in the best divion in the country, the best conference in the country. Hav beaten better opposition than Alabama did. And you just outed yourself as an idiot by attempting to proclaim Clemson as a tough opponent. In a completely objective and bias free poll you cannot make a case for Alabama over Texas Tech.

Well,"idiot" have you ever heard of preseason polls ? Clemson was 9th. Alabama beat the hell out of them. Anyone with half a brain can make a case for Alabama. Texas Tech had to beat Nebraska at home in OT. No way on earth Texas Tech should jump over Alabama.

Pre-season polls. Get the frick out of here with that bullshite. You mean the pre-season sec suckfest. 4 sec teams were way overrated and 1 underrated. Auburn in the top-10? Tennessee ranked? LSwho in the top-10? Georgia #1 LOL.
