Relief from being frustrated. A weight lifted.

So rushing the field will be a moment of frustration?

IF we win and that's a big IF, we will no doubt rush the field. It's been 11 years, the moonshine will flow and the mountain women's panties will drop.

OK. So super duper excited. Exhilaration. Jubilation.

But not about beating UF because beating UF is no big deal. I think I got it now.

The 1998 UT/UF game has been called the greatest game played at Neyland Stadium.

I have kind of a funny anecdote about that game. That was an 8PM game. I was pretty pumped up of course. Stayed here in Atlanta with plans to watch it on the tube.

Went out in the afternoon and got some bad potato skins or something. I was on the verge of throwing up the whole game. I only drank one beer.

When the Gators missed that field goal, I thought, "Isn't that nice." I just felt so crappy.

But I do recall that the vaunted Gators had -19 yards rushing, 5 sacks and I believe 5 turnovers.

Jamal Lewis had 90 yards on 18 carries and Shawn Bryson had a 64 yard TD run, where the Gator defender dragged him down in the back of the end zone.

Glad you get it. It's about the bs streak, not the opponent.

Yeah. Beating UF is no big deal. I get it. Maybe we can make this this a rivalry a game you care about again soon. We'll keep trying.

When did it become a thing on tRant for everybody to downplay their own team?
Ole Miss fans did it last week, now this week UF and UT fans are fighting each other to see who can poor mouth their own players better.
