Changing the state flag is the dumbest thing. If the flag goes Rebels go haha

I wonder if there had been an American flag ALSO in the mix why that has never been up for recall?

You know the Klan carries both flags and wears white sheets, yet there is never a boycott of the American flag or white sheets. Race baiters pick apart what they deem as offensive for their own myriad of reasons.

Until ALL persons involved can see past symbols as the enemy we are stuck in the mindless battle for common ground. Why change symbols? Why not change the hearts of men and women so that symbols are a moot point?

Ole Miss has not waved the confederate flag in stadiums for many years, and yet, the PC crowd is NEVER happy! They love to chip away at traditions in the name of humanity, but underneath it is a power struggle that enables victim hood instead of progress. You cannot legislate GUILT TRIPS.
You will never change the minds of anyone on either side as long as one side insists on punishing the other. None of us are in an entitled position of judging yesterday by today. No one cares what reason each side has for its position....it is merely the struggle to be RIGHT.
History certainly didn't teach us very much about moving on. Mankind uses it to lord over one group or another and yet NOTHING is gained. We are fighting the same war of words over and over. For what? To recruit better football players for one's alma mater? To denigrate one group over another?
Nobody wins unless we solve the real problem...hearts of men. Symbols won't change behaviors or attitudes.

Don't judge me by the flag I wave, but how I treat you.
