You were only allowed back into the game because of the mercy of Dan Mullen. He and Miles must be pretty good friends.

Yeah any coach that loses to Mississippi State should be fired, see Tuberville, Tommy and Chizik, Gene

LOL...yeah, Saban hasn't coached there in 10 years...meaning, by 2009, all of the players he recruited were gone. Les Miles is 46-10 since then, with an SEC championship and a title appearance

Think he was being sarcastic there bud...

No one with half a brain would consider firing Miles... Dude is a damn good coach...

Who is better than Miles? He's got a BCS Championship, two SEC Championships, he's 22-22 in games we trail after 3 quarters, he has a winning record against coaches with BCS titles.

His biggest problem is he had to follow the best coach in college football, who then took the job with a hated rival

wait so does anyone actually discuss anything on this board? or does it go straight to repetitive unoriginal trolling before anything of any substance is actually discussed by anyone?

Les is a top 5 recruiter... top 5 coach... meh.

If he would keep his players around a little longer, he can win 10+ every year on talent alone. In fairness to him, he has become a better coach in recent years. In game clock management and the go for broke fourth downs are less and less common these days. Next year he should be right back in the mix... given they settle the QB situation.

To be completely honest I do not see why any LSU supporter can say Les needs to go. You guys have had some unbelievable seasons under Miles and although this years team doesn't look as strong as some of the past ones, they are all still very young and have a ton of potential. I am not an LSU fan so I won't say much more but I'm interested in hearing some reasoning behind firing Les

Getting rid of Miles is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. The problem with Miles is that he averages about 10 wins per season. I can see where people would get sick of that.

Nick Saban
Urban Meyer
Jimbo Fisher
Bob Stoops
Gus Malzahn (he hasnt been there long but everyone outside of LSU knows he is better)
Steve Spurrier
... im just getting started. maybe top 10, def not top 5! he has won 1 sec championship since 2007, getting destroyed and embarrassed following that game in the real championship i might add.

No. Who would step in to take the job if the guy gets fired after having nothing but success in a storied and tumultuous tenure?

LSU fans are crazy. Getting grinded on isn't any fun but that's no reason to talk about firing coach.
Its just one game and State has a good team/qb this year.

No, LSU lost a lot of talent and experience on both sides of the ball and is reloading with inexperienced talent.
