Now that his head coach that he committed to, and his OC that ran the offense through him, are gone? The offense pretty much ran entirely through him which was beating him down physically, and now the season is effectively over other than playing for 8 wins and a bottom-tier bowl.

I mean, others were saying this about USC's Clowney while USC was winning 11 gms, ranked in the top 10 nationally, and contending (per "experts") for SEC championship games. The entire Gamecock team's hopes did not revolve around him.

Discuss, yaw.....

So it would be just another day in LSU land.

Fanbase wouldn't. He's already injured so I think he should.

He had 16 carries despite averaging some 6.3 YPC. Wouldn't call that "ran the offense through him" worthy

He has given everything he had to the university so I would have no issue with him hanging it up and getting himself healthy. Only concern would be people beginning to question the agent thing. No need for NCAA to leave Oxford for Baton Rouge

Nah he still has a chance to break Kevin Faulk's all time rushing record

The NCAA investigators could rent hotel rms in Jackson Mississippi, and split the difference. Hit both schools alternating every other day. They could make it work....

He's still suffering from the high ankle sprain. I'd hazard a guess that we will see a lot more of Guice until LF is back to 90-100%
