First off, African Americans are generally not of French ancestry - espcially the French Acadians from Nova Scotia who were robbed, pillaged and forced to move from the communities they built in the late 1700s by the Redcoats.

Secondly how are Americans of French Acadian ancestry "trash" to you?
Are ItalianAmericans in Chicago and New York "trash"? Are Polish and German-Americans in the northern midwest trash?
