Shocker, Bama commit eligible for fall semester, anywhere else you can bet NCAA

Alabama will add 6-foot-7, 330-pound defensive lineman Raekwon Davis to its roster this fall, after all.
The four-star behemoth committed to both Alabama and Jones County Junior College (Ellisville, Miss.) on signing day in February, a maneuver that gave him a backup landing spot if his work in the classroom did not improve.
But Davis recently told SEC Country he’s officially headed to Tuscaloosa next month.
The NCAA requires student-athletes to attain a certain score on a sliding scale that combines the prospect’s grade-point average and standardized test scores; A low ACT score had been the primary culprit behind Davis’ uncertain future.

And don't give me this shite. Alabama has had two different guys enroll early, go through an entire spring and summer (passing classes no less) only to be ruled ineligible come fall by the NCAA.

I'm glad the Clearinghouse didn't dick around and drag this shite out to the last possible minute and then yank the carpet from under the guy after he was already settled in at UA.

From what you posted, there is absolutely no doubt that Bama and Davis received special treatment. I mean there is basically no other way to interpret what happened.
