She got paid, it was 20 years ago, time to move on.

King is a mad at the world racist because he failed in football. Its all the white mans fault. He made up a bunch of shite about Ole Miss after they beat Tulane's arse at homecoming too.

Wait, is this the ex Tulane/Buccanear QB writing this?

I know, it's minor compared to what some of your current players are doing to women.

They're taking what they're getting on the field and giving it to the Co-eds off.

You are the worst poster I've seen here. You should stick to running around trying to snitch on people instead of posting.

Do you have a link to UT players being convicted for misdeeds with women?

A lotta youngins don't know how things were in the early 90s -- it was not a progressive time in terms of various social issues. Incidents like this weren't considered a big deal. The term 'sexual harassment' was openly mocked by mainstream comedians. Doesn't make whatever happened right but it adds some perspective.

Anyway as some have already stated, I think this was a dumb jock prank gone wrong. PM ended up humiliating the woman instead of it being something they both laughed at and followed it up by being spiteful. That's not cool and bringing it up again in his book isn't cool either -- he should've let sleeping dogs lie.

Yeah, that's from the weed, which I'll concede, we partake in.

I was very young in the 90s, so I really don't remember the the opinion of when this report first came out. Have you happened to see Peyton's side of this 2003 court document? I would be interested in reading about it or seeing it.

Personally I really don't think the story is about either of them really. It's more about the image both of them have in the general public's eyes and how that image was cultivated by the media. I mean at least a handful of people in this thread have said they had never heard this story about Peyton, yet I bet every single poster on this site know the story of Cam stealing a laptop.

And there is no way that could be due to the fact that the Manning incident happened almost a quarter century ago - before a lot of the posters here were even born - and the Cam situation came to public light in 2010 right? It HAS to be because one is white and the other is black, right?

Come on. Give me a break.

Do a google search and set the date limit to 2004. The Manning story was EVERYWHERE. The assertion that it was ignored is an absolute blatant lie. King knows it, but as others have shown he has a problem with the truth when it is inconvenient to his agenda.

The story isn't out now because it is old news. Nobody cares. In 15 years, nobody will care about Cam's laptop either.

Since we are digging up bones, maybe we should talk about more recent events.

How about boosters actually going to Federal prison after the filthiest program in the SEC got caught AGAIN!

Sure, bring it up. Post a thread and lets relive it. I was pretty young for that as well. You can give a UT perspective. You can also answer those questions I posted earlier and then tell me why you think this is a "hit piece" and not being objective. ;)

No. I don't know if that's ever been published. I remember reading the USA Today article on the 2003 case but I don't remember if it had those documents. I *think* that might've been sealed up because they settled but really have no clue.

The original USA Today article was very different from this one and the allegations against Rollo presented in this one surprised me. What I've heard from people that were there was that she was called "bumpers" because of her breasts. I never once heard the "c-nt bumpers" thing and I highly doubt Rollo assumed her to be gay. That makes no sense considering she was married. A lot of that stuff just doesn't sound right but who knows.

I assume you are talking about Alsbama. Tell me who went to federal prison.

I will hang up and listen.

Peyton was never convicted nor proven guilty of anything.

How about that steaming pile of filth known as the Alabama football program? Were they found guilty?
