People in Nashville say that Arkansas should go ahead and annex Memphis, seeing as how that move would immediately raise the IQ level of both states!

Yea, let's kick one of the(if not still busiest) airports in the world(cargo and passenger), plus the river port, and one of the biggest distribution hubs in America.

Are there plans to move the SEC office or is this just wishful thinking? Why does it matter as long as they do their jobs?

Yes. Would be a good place to move it to, in my opinion. No one can accuse the Mississippi schools of ever unfairly benefiting from decisions made by the league office.

I don't really care. I just wish CFB referees would be a nationally traveling entity rather than regionally based and an old boy network. Wasn't there an old man in full Bama regalia run over on the sidelines of their Spring game, and it came out he was the father of the SEC head of refs or something like that? SMH.

I would vote for ATL or Nashville, just because both those towns have a ton of varying influences that have nothing to do with college football, so it would be very hard for any one entity to gain influence. There is a reason they call it Bammerham, I would think.

Oh, and for those that call Atlanta soulless, I would recommend actually venturing into the city rather than flocking to planned communities 15-30 miles outside of it. I grew up in South Georgia, have lived in many places both in and outside the South, and I love Atlanta as a city.

However, as someone who would know once told me, it isn't the location, it is the influences on the man in charge that cause the most issues. There was a reason that Tennessee was the Teflon Don when Kramer was in charge.
