Yep

Or is that Harrell? Harrell is legit. That kid can flat play.

True as well, They've been great this year...as well as our Freshman PG.

But everyone else....

When they are in together it turns into a 2 on 5 game.

Andrew Harrison would be a legimate lottery pick if he could actually play PG at his size. But he hasn't really shown that he can all season.

The NBA isn't exactly pining for slow shooting guards that can't shoot.

Well, considering few have an opportunity to watch these players in HS

Basketball is different than Football. The guys who rank football recruits are lucky if they see a player twice. The guys who rank basketball recruits have seen a lot of these guys play in literally over 100 games

Been saying this for years. Surely it's easier to rank these basketball kids than the football kids.

I was talking about the average fan.

But, most of these games are in AAU play where saying defense is optional is being nice.

He's had glimpses, but has been insanely inconsistent. Turn on the Tennessee tape and you will see a lottery PG, but watch like 80% of the other games and you will see a guy who is struggling to figure things out.

Their inability to space the floor has hurt his game a lot as well.

Which is why Aaron Harrison was projected as a late 1st or 2nd round guy coming out of high school.

The guy who has seriously fallen off is James Young. He was their best player for about a month and now he is seriously struggling with his shot. He is a terrible passer. Plus he struggles to finish off of one leg.

but what makes them such great 'talents'? Coming out of high school they were top 5-10 players

They were bigger and stronger than everyone they played against in HS. They aren't in HS anymore. I actually had this conversation with my buddy on the way home from the game. They aren't terrible but clearly that's why they were rated so high.

Yeah, there isn't going to be many (if any) HS teams to match up with their size at that position (outside of some of the prep schools), but once you get to college/NBA every team has guards that size (unless John Pelphrey is your coach, he loves him some sub 6'0" 3 guard lineups/rosters).

Glad UK's top recruits next year are from Chicago, Indianapolis & NYC. These Texas kids just don't learn how to play right.

These guys just arent ready yet. I think the BBN is finally coming to the realization that Anthony Davis and MKG were very special players. That kind of thing can't be expected every year.
