I'm not even one to troll and don't make a habit talking shite about anyone really (not often at least), but with 16k posts on here, you've been here long enough to know how this site works. But if you really want to know why people do....it's for melts like this thread you started. You're giving these people exactly the reaction they want. HTH

Personally, I never talk shite to any other university's fanbase. My posts in response to other's threads are 100% truthful. So, when I post that I have taken someone's old lady, that is the truth. It is not talking sit, it is just being honest.

I agree that talking shite is totally ridiculous and makes the individual look like a total arse. Personally, I love the guys who post that I'm an idiot or a dumbass, etc. but then beg me to save the life of a loved one in the ED.

I can understand some clown like lil Billie coming to show off his cute, spiffy little GIFs under the guise of trolling, but I'm astounded by the audacity of such a large number of fans who continue to just flail away with no hope of getting the upper hand (at least until your team wins a game! ) of any debate on the matter.
The only argument that y'all ever bring to the table is, "we can't ever beat you, so you must be cheating!"
And the one common thought here is, cheating or not, nearly ALL teams operate about the same way. Hell, most of these coaches end up coaching at the same schools that they play against at one time or another, so there's really little difference.

I believe that every team cheats, some better than others in bending the rules or pushing the envelope. Having players driving nice vehicles after growing up without a vehicle in the household should raise eyebrows. Not that only one university does this, as they all do. My aggravation is that at the end of the day, a university is place of higher learning. It is not a place for kids to hone their talents on a field.

In closing, I'm not asking y'all to STOP doing this, because I find a great deal of entertainment in the exchange (similar to salmon trying to swim up stream while the bears stand in the stream and pick them off one at a time...and I'm the bear! ). I'm just curious as to why you continue to do this to yourselves...you're an interesting (if not very bright) bunch of folks!

I am uncertain why they do this other than to get under the skin of other posters. It is a shame there cannot be good clean honest discussion about teams or games or seasons. I think that anyone who posts 44-16 (or whatever that score was) or 21-0, etc. should receive a one month ban. Unless a poster was actually on the field participating then they have nothing to crow about. I think Chicken or the SEC Admin should arrange a day where posters meet in a ring and handle this bullshite the way it was handled back in the day.
