deserve to be ranked ahead of Ole Miss, Florida, Bama, A&M, and LSU? Besides one convincing win against a struggling Oregon team, have they really proved to be better than these guys?? The voters seem a bit in over their heads.

They'd be 3-2 in the SEC.

They have a hell of a resume. They beat Michigan, gave Oregon their worst loss ever at Autzen and beat a surprsingly good Cal team.

Situations like this always work themselves out. Every year there is an unexpected team that the media props up and boast about and every year they crash back to reality at some point.

Their resume is 3x better than LSUs and 2x better than UFs. Absolutely deserve it.

Why dont we just rank every SEC team ahead of all the other teams?

Utah has been more impressive that any of those teams. They should be ranked higher. And if you pull the SEC is better card they can say that they played one SEC team in the Sugar Bowl and beat the living shite out of them.
