Seems that State had a basketball player just not show up to the game tonight

Not figuratively.
They sent a manager and he was asleep in his room.

The serenity of Starkganistan is just too great not to take advantage of and get a full 16 hours of sleep.

Hahaha yea it was Lamar peters, second time he missed a game not sure what the first offense was. Probably won't last much longer on the team

What's the big deal here?
I already said he was the biggest sleeper in our class. Nothing to see here, move along.

He's going back to bed already? Couldn't even charge his phone while he was sleeping.

When I was an undergrad I worked as a student worker at the PMAC. One day about 5 mins before tip off I heard over the radio "Anyone who sees Tasmin Mitchell get him to the floor ASAP". Doing the final sweep of the entrances I hear someone screaming near where the players park. It was him yelling into his phone to his baby's momma about how she needed to go to his mothers and pick up their kid because he had a game and it was her day to watch him. Not knowing what to do I just stood there deer in headlights. He saw me and said "Gametime???" I shook my head. He went back to the phone and said"Gotta go, later b*tch". Hung up the phone and looked at me and said "Let's do this!!!" And sprinted inside.
I know csb, but there are very few time I get to tell this and it just seemed appropriate.

Real talk, we recently had one of our soccer players at the school I work with who was diagnosed with narcolepsy. Kid was notoriously late and oversleeping. Dude was apparently notorious for napping in the locker room before the game and the team having a hard time waking him up.

Perfect that he ended it with "goodnight".

Lamar "Sleepy" Peters. I like it.
Following in the footsteps of NBA legend "Sleepy" Floyd
and former MSU great "Sleepy" Robinson.

Awesome pic of Sleepy Robinson.
And those damnable Champion cleats. How did they ever win a game while wearing those concrete blocks on their feet?

I am surprised it took them so long to realize. I always assumed the team got together like 4 hours before game time but I guess not.

Was wondering the same thing. It's freakin' Starkville. It's not like the kid got stuck on the B train coming from the Bronx
