No matter what is reported, Ole Miss fans find a way to believe someone is lying to get them in trouble. Everyone lied about the Tunsil stuff.......but that turned out to be true. Everyone lied about the NOA......but that too proved true. Everyone lied about the content of the NOA.....yep, another truth. I'm trying to figure out what has been brought out that the Ole Miss fans denied, that hasn't come to fruition yet.

Not good that there were prior allegations against Barney, since obviously they were investigated and not deemed legit enough by the NCAA, or Tunsil would have gotten more than 7 games. For his name to come up separately is circumstantial but kinda corroboration

And the guy they call "Rosebowl" has been right about 100% of what he's said yet the OM fans are so mad he was right that now they insult his character, his wife, his children...etc etc. First they called him a liar, but after proving to be right all the time they went personal. Denial is awesome to watch.

Almost ALWAYS who gets a school in trouble? A disgruntled person. Nobody who is happy is going to roll on the school. Take a look at the just the last few.
Alabama- Disgruntled ex player who wasnt playing
USC- Disgruntled property owner who hadnt been paid.
Miami- Disgruntled booster who got mad because Maimi players didnt come to his defense.
Going back to SMU- A disgruntled ex player who wasnt playing.
Even Auburn in 93- An ex player whose career in the NFL didnt pan out.
The NCAA looks for the person with the ax to grind. it's their best source of information. They will look for more as well, you can bet on that.

The media doesn't care. They make their money by cooperating with athletic departments. They don't want to be kicked out of the media room by an athletic department. Ole Miss is barely a story outside of this site.

That is so true. Our largest state newspaper gives Ole Miss so much love and despite being an instate paper, they find it hard to print anything negative about Ole Miss until the national media runs a story for 24 hours. Only then are they compelled to do the same.
