Arkansas-Iowa is perfect.

Besides the obvious of Bert having played at Iowa and having the Hawkeye logo tattooed on his cankle. Iowa does a lot of hog farming, and for some reason tons of Iowa instead of saying "Go Hawks" to shorten Hawkeyes say "Go Hogs"

Only thing saving ole miss from the perfect smu comparison is that smu isn't in the power 5. Lol. That would be spot on though. Ole miss is technically in the power 5 by name, but they play and act like a group of 5 program.

I would put Auburn with West Virginia and Florida with UCLA and Tennessee with Arizona State as far as overall athletics.

Austin TX is the most overhyped college town in America. I'd rather go to any SEC town over that dump.

Some places are not for everyone
Growing up in Texas and being surrounded by people who first do not think for theirselves second take great interest in other people's lives and third people who believe that God actually said down with pen and paper and wrote the Bible
Going to a place like Austin is like heaven.
It seems like God himself shines a light of wisdom and knowledge onto that city and not the rest of Texas

Well that and the fact that kids who go to SMU actually have money, not "my dad has a dealership in Clarksdale" money

Austin is fun, but way overpopulated. Madison, WI is awesome though. Would love to check out a game there:

Actually I am an anti-statist

I believe in individualism and I am against any type of collective thought if it is the church, state or corporations.
Usually the three guilty parties who have removed the ability of humans to take care of themselves

I actually believe I have improved upon Ayn Rand's objectivism

Anyway I have a published work analyzing how humans have allowed themselves to be subservient since the awning of the agricultural revolution if interested

Florida: Oregon. Despite what Florida has done recently, both have a reputation and tradition for innovative offenses and products like Nike and Gatorade. Both fan bases are younger because of recent success. Before 1990, Florida didn’t have much tradition. But with the arrival of Steve Spurrier, the Gators won at least nine games from 1990 through 2001, won six SEC championships and the 1996 national championship. Oregon similarly turned a corner with Chip Kelly with three straight 12-win seasons, including wins in the Rose Bowl and Fiesta Bowl.

Do I smell an LSU reference here?

For some reason, it's very important for a segment of Ole Miss people to project (what they think passes for) status, but it's ridiculous when you look at the reality.

If anything, Ole Miss is a smaller, less-moneyed version of Bama. Alabama's campus is more along the lines of what Ole Miss's would be if they had more students and more funding.

Here's a visual aid:

at least you are consistent.

Is that tickets sold or actual people in attendance?

There's a famous picture from the 2010 FAU game that shows the stadium almost empty that was reported as a sellout.

ticket transactions likely, I wouldn't trust anyone's turnstile numbers regardless.

FAU '10 is ur typical UT crowd.. it'll get full, but unless it's a big game it may be 2Q before it 's full tilt. Third empty at kick, check out a 2Q pic and it'll be full.

Social event/country club crowd and it's been that way for a long time and likely not going to change.

First TX-OU game as a pup, few minutes to kick and the OU side is packed/has been.. TX half has huge gaps everywhere. I couldn't believe Texas fans didn't sell their allotment or even close. Father told me to wait til a few minutes after kick.. sure enough :15 later and it's full.

I'm Texas proud 100%.. first to admit it's an average fan experience given the crowd size (eventually) and history of the program.

Cowboys can be just as bad.. was at a game when Aikman lined up under guard and was too busy barking audibles to notice. Couldn't believe how few noticed.
