For next year I was wondering if we could have a Top Overall Play of the Year award? I might have missed that, but I don't remember seeing it.

FES, I love ya bro but how the frick you didn't have CJ as defensive MVP is beyond me. He is the best defensive player in the entire freakin conference if not the country. Hell he won the Butkus.
Ballot is in but wish there had been a write in option IMO cause CJ would have been there for a LOT of people, and not just Bama fans

Well, first, I didn't have a sole say in the nominees, only in collecting and presenting.
Maybe we can look at it as the subtle difference between a true MVP vs a "Most Outstanding". If we look at Alabama's defense, most of us agree that the D would lose a little bit without CJ, but overall it would still be a really strong unit. The three defenses represented by the nominees may be seen as more heavily dependent on those players for success. I'm not saying CJ didn't deserve a spot there, just an option of how we can look at the result and say "ok, maybe that is reasonable".

Jeremy Hills 49 yard run vs Auburn was better than the 3 listed. Nothing spectacular about those 3 at all.
