You were saying.

So AU plays the full 60? Got it.

Malzahn jinxed Auburn with his Marshal needs to be considered for Heisman talk. Heisman bad karma.

Mizzou wins.

So are my choices either it was normal or a miracle to describe the iron bowl. I hope this place never changes. I love the reprieve from reality.

Also to op. No you're not. You're carrying the same banner about mizzu not getting respect that they've made their rally cry this week.

Agreed, Auburn and SEC fans in general seem to be giving Mizzou its due. It's the talking heads on ESPN/sports radio that seem to not be giving us much of a chance. But that's ok with me, I know how Mizzou tends to play when the expectations are high.

Mizzou has a very good team. They have a nice shot to win this. Auburn just played a very physical game and had the ultimate ending. The game and celebration could wear a lot of people down.

Mizzou just faced a mobile QB in Johnny Football and won (though something has seemed a little off with Johnny Football since the start of the LSU game...maybe not though). Mizzou had the fastest D-line that I saw in the SEC this year, but it seems they would be more useful against a typical drop-back passer. Auburn's style of offense is really challenging with their pace when they get it going.

This seems like a toss-up to me. This is Missouri's first time playing in the SECCG, so that could impact them. But the media overlooking Mizzou instead of talking about their NC possibilities could really fire them up. As Les Miles would say, "Undefeated in regulation..."

Dude youre absolutely insane. Bama's title chances are done unless FSU and OSU lose. If Mizzou wins this game, there is zero chance Bama goes to Pasadena. Quit being insecure.

I will have to admit that if for damn sure.

As much as I pull against you for certain games, I will be pulling for you on Saturday.

I am still indebted a half gallon of Jack to my Aubie buddy from the MSU game - but that's only because I have not seen him since the game.

All year, everybody has picked against Auburn. Vegas has had no fricking CLUE how to handicap AU games. Im very respectful of Mizzou. They have a great team. Auburn does too. Will be a great game.

For anybody who says AU sucks, just remember 11 other teams sucked harder. Including all but one in the toughest division in the toughest conference in America this year.

Personally, I think we're playing with house money. And most MU fans, if they were honest with you, would say they're hoping the third time is the charm. In the last 7 years we've been to three CCG in two different conferences now. The first two didn't end well, the first because we couldn't run the ball (especially after we lost our starting RB for the second half), and the second when OU and Sam Bradford curb stomped our nonexistent defense.

A lot of people have given HCGP a lot of grief over that, but to his credit he's adjusted and worked to address those issues. Both areas are vastly improved since those first two games. That's what gives a lot of us hope or confidence we can get over the hump. This team can run the ball and the defense has a pulse. This team is much more well rounded than the first two, and without the fatal flaws, although this team has some imperfections as well.

As far as the media, everyone was shocked about the way Auburn won the game with Bama, and they certainly look the part of the team of destiny right now. So I can understand the bandwagon that's formed for them, and good for them. I don't begrudge them the attention-they've earned it, even if you could call they way they have done it pretty fortunate and rare, to put it mildly.

Besides, we've been playing the underdog/chip on the shoulder routine all year, you expect us to stop now?

Really what you have is two teams playing with a similar mentality. Neither disrespects the other and I am sure both teams will be bringing all they got because there are no other games for several weeks.

Both teams are well coached and have a desire to prove something to people. It will come down to execution and the one who makes the least amount of mistakes. Should be a good matchup.
