If this was the "highest rated WR corp coming out of high school" thread, you'd be correct. Unfortunately, nobody knows how good your WRs are...

McDonaldsburger is going to show the world how good LSU's receivers are.

MSU has come a long way, Chad Bumphis, Brandon Heavans, Arceto Clark, Chris Smith, Michael Carr, mixed in with some talented redshirt freshman coming in and Joe Morrow who is a 6ft 5 4 star true fresh. and can go get the jump balls. This is a very talented and young group, who did nothing but get better as the year went on. MSU's WR corp went from a weakness to a strength in a couple years. Its nice to have some weapons who can make plays for a change.

I still say MSU's WR corp is better at dropping passes than ours. They did it all season and ours really only did it in one game, albeit a very important game.

The rest are right on.

The main guy we had that had some HUGE drops for us (Auburn game on the 5, driving to win) is Leon Berry. He graduates. The rest did a pretty good job of holding on to the ball, with the exception of a bad game or two.

Physically tennessee's duo has as much upside as any. Best? Arkansas have probably been the most productive. But I think LSUs would even more productive if they had that system and a big time QB.

In all seriousface,

It's Arkansas. LSU fans are expecting Mettenberger to be Billy Cannon/Peyton Manning/ Luke Skywalker reincarnate.

Arky fans are expecting the same from Wilsonn Who has only played one real game in his career and it was against the 105th ranked passing defense in the nation (Auburn).

I don't deny that Tyler Wilson might be good but same with Mettenberger. He and Mettenberger can be put in the same category with the fact that they might be good. Neither one has proved anything in the SEC yet.

Cobi Hamilton says to LSU. Love it how LSU fans keep going back to OSU beating us. It's pretty pathetic when you have to talk smack through another program because LSU wasn't good enough to get the job done vs Arky

Jeffrey and Childs are the only elite WR this year.

Blake, Maze, Tolliver, Adams, and Hanks are the next tier.

None of them have the hands that Lutz has though.

That we know about. There will be a couple more break out somewhere. I'm hoping at least one of them plays for Bama.
