But it's not in a 85k seat stadium.
And it's the Longhorns, playing in the Texas Bowl.

A Texas team always plays in the Texas bowl...and these are still the most expensive tickets they've had in years

It won't be the most, but LSU and Notre Dame are two pretty good draws for Nashville. Notre Dame has that huge alumni base, so I expect there to be many there. LSU fans have bought more tickets for this game than the two most recent bowls. I think LSU fans are excited about the new location, the big name opponent, and the chances of a bowl over said name opponent.
I'll be there!

They are in Texas, but what does that have to do with your (inaccurate) statement that a Texas team always plays in the Texas bowl?
Posted on 12/20/14 at 4:26 pm to JesusQuintana
a Texas team in the Texas bowl 2/3 years is pretty damn often
Like I said

No, that's not "like you said"
You said a Texas team ALWAYS in the Texas bowl, and you are wrong.
You are also pounding your chest about selling out a game in Texas that features the Texas Longhorns. Again, congrats
ETA: you are an Arky fan, so I'll cut you some slack. You've probably forgotten all about what a bowl game even is.

Texas doesn't exactly give a frick about filling a stadium
Thought you would know this since you used to play them yearly. Do you have two brain cells to rub together?

How does a bowl game get done in a town that filed for bakruptcy? Terrible.

Worst - Shreveport
Best - Texas Bowl. Sold out, Arkansas and Texas both sold their entire allotment nearly two weeks prior to the game.

Nope. Don't you understand the rant talking point? Texas bought every ticket. Therefore a sellout means nothing about Arkansas fans. We would've needed a rare "double sellout" to prove to the rant we bought any tickets at all
