Why are people still buying these games? Haven't the last 4 or so basically been the same game?

That's not the point. There will be no SEC championship game in the Georgia dome with SEC signs and banners every where. You will be playing in some generic named conference that has absolutely no meaning to it. It will kill the experience, period. And you if you disagree, then you are just wrong and either don't play video games in the first place or just are completely ignorant. Plain and simple.

I fully understand whats going on and I do play video games. I was just posting what the SEC just posted on twitter. I know it will be a generic conference but in a way EA has been preparing for this by letting gamers create neutral site games as well as creating teams.

The SEC logo thing is a blow but some people thought the SEC schools were going to be left out as well. That's not the case.

as long as the servers stay open for NCAA 14, fans can keep updating the rosters like College Hoops 2K8

Updated rosters, better graphics, better mechanics. Each installment has improvements over the last.

There really is no point in getting the game now. I like realism and with the NCAA and SEC dropping their logos and such from the game, I don't see why they should even include the 14 teams.

So is there just going to be Generic "Southern" conference in place with teams like Tuscaloosa Tide, Opelika Eagles, Baton Rouge Bengals and Gainesville Alligators?

I'll be looking forward to kicking some arse as the South Central Louisiana State University Mud Dogs!

Good. EA ruined football games. I hope that they go bankrupt. The last generation of football games has been godawful.

I gotta admit, I played an A&M home game last night to see what having JFF would be like. And I wound up watching the opening video. Maybe it's random -- he is the QB and all -- but it looked a hell of a lot like they were selling Manziel.

I didn't like the O'Bannon suit, but it was a little too creepy for my taste.

No, he is right. EA is one of the worst things to ever happen to sports gaming. Hopefully 2kSports will release a new CFB game now. No matter what sport, what year, or anything, they always put out a better game than EA. They just don't always have the licenses.

Amen. The only bright side to all this is that we could possibly get an SEC game. One can dream..ha

Why do people buy Call of Duty every year? It's the same fricking game over and over.

Answer: people are sheep. They get it because it's new and they're supposed to.
